About
Art and creativity were always present in
my life when I was growing up. Drawing,
painting, and designing greeting cards offered
hours of artistic pleasure during my early years.
With degrees from the Fashion Institute
of Technology and Centenary University,
I pursued a graphic design career in
New York City.
My focus being on home and fashion
magazine designing, art directing and styling
photo shots. My passion for home design
led me to pursue design interests in
textile/surface design and interior design.
Being an artist and designer who is inspired
by the beauty of nature and by my love of
color, pattern and texture, I’m always
observing and being inspired by what I
see. Capturing and exploring each moment
through pictures i.e., the texture from the bark
of a tree, the expressiveness of two lilies side
by side, the “chevron” pattern on a green leaf.
Each inspired observation being imagined
into new designs for a textile, a logo, a
painting, or an interior. Creating is a joyful
experience and inspiration; it is everywhere,
especially in nature.
